Left for Dead - a story of Surviving and thriving

Mikey B. survived severe head trauma (subdural hematoma), including paralysis, as the victim of a hit-and-run. He was left for dead on the sidewalk. He has dedicated his amazing recovery to inspiring others by  promoting health and fitness. His motto "Don't hate it, embrace it"  is a formula for accepting the changes wrought by traumatic injury and then moving forward to reclaim your life.

Mikey and I are collaborating on the story of his accident and the long months of surgeries, rehabilitation and eventual triumph over his injuries. Our goal is to give hope to others who have suffered brain injury and other debilitating injuries.

The book should be available in the Spring of 2015. Stay tuned for ways you can be involved!
